Our mission is to transform the way we heal, grow and live as the world knows it, through remembering the body's intelligence and the soul's wisdom. This mission is what birthed the name SOULBODY BREATH®. We believe that it begins with learning how to listen to your body. Once you understand its language, you can build a relationship of inner safety and trust; key ingredients for personal growth that lasts! Once you know how to listen, your heart will open and your soul will speak, guiding you towards your next true step in life.
A MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
SOULBODY BREATH® is more than a breathwork experience; it's an ever-evolving community and facilitator training that puts people and service at the forefront of everything it offers.
I believe that our breath is medicine to help us heal, grow and live a life that's aligned with our true heart. It's more than healing the past; it's about co-creating a new reality.
The methodology and ethos of SOULBODY BREATH® was born from the desire and passion to create spaces where individuals are truly seen, heard and supported in their experience with their breath. Where facilitators are trauma-informed, resourced and equipped to guide others through the human transformational process, and where they have a community to turn to for guidance, support and celebration.
SOULBODY BREATH® is not about me. It's about the unique journey of every individual, that weaves both the science and spirituality in the fabric of their being for transformation at a cellular level.
the five key pillars
The breath becomes your ally throughout each journey, and the more familiar you become with the practice, the more you can understand what your breath is telling you.
Each journey is around 35 – 40 minutes, which is carried over nine cycles. We use a combination of conscious breathing, breath retention and ancient pranayama techniques. Each cycle guides you to a new space within; we begin slower and start to build pace and rhythm as we progress. As this is an inclusive experience, there is always an alternative technique of breathing offered to any individual with contraindications or who simply needs a slower pace on the day.
Healing isn’t about getting a result. It’s about bringing you closer to yourself, softening around the places that feel tight, and being compassionate and curious on the journey. At SOULBODY BREATH®, we work with somatic healing techniques that work with your energy and body’s intelligence. Sometimes this is a simple listening technique, and others it’s an invitation to a deeper expression of what’s ready to be seen and heard
Trauma-informed facilitation means an approach that is rooted in safety, trustworthiness & transparency, inclusivity & cultural, historical & gender considerations, empowerment, voice & choice, and knowing the scope of practice. Facilitation is through a heart-centered, gentle approach and compassionate lens, and the facilitator is trained to recognise and support individuals in moments where energetic charges are present.
What’s more, is that Jenni offers to all participants the opportunity to reach out to her directly within the following days if they feel they need additional support at no extra cost.
Every journey is intentionally created around a theme or topic that’s in the collective field or around spiritual Truths, and regardless of that, every individual is invited to choose their own path with the theme. Everything in the space is an offering, and is energetically held by Jenni throughout.
Music is an integral element each journey. From piano to hand pans, electronic to ethereal sounds, mantras to worship; you are invited to connect with whatever is present within you, and create space for all of you to be welcomed in.
Meditation and grounding practices are integral to our journey. They help us to lower the volume on external distractions and turn our attention to our inner world. In every journey you are guided into some form of meditation and grounding.
In longer experiences, you receive a quantum meditation. Quantum meditation is a powerful method to guide you into your creative power. It holds roots in the Upanishads, and connects us with the Hiranyagarbha that lives within all of us; the realm of pure potentiality.
It’s a unique meditation that invites your body into the conversation through relationship and sensations.
A vehicle for transformation at a cellular level through altered states of consciousness.
SOULBODY BREATH® is a vehicle that enables you to access altered states of consciousness, activate neuroplasticity and open the door to your subconscious. It is through activating and up-regulating the nervous system that we create an environment for suppressed emotions and accumulated stress to be released from the body; allowing the emotion to complete its full 90 second cycle that it was not able to in the moment of a difficult experience.
But that’s not all.
In this non-ordinary state, you have access to the quantum field; the place where anything can be created, received and healed.
